Is bird infestation a common issue with solar panels?
Birds and other pests can deposit droppings and other debris onto your solar panels, which can reduce their overall output. The pests can also interfere with system cables and potentially cause blockages in the gutter and roof's drainage systems. Check out our blog for info >
Why is it problematic to have birds nesting under or close to my solar panels?
Solarguard UK recommends installing either our Protective Mesh System, or our Protective Spike System around the perimeter of the solar panels. This prevents access to pigeons and other nesting birds, hence, protecting the solar panel installation and ensuring optimal system yield.
How can I prevent birds from nesting under or near my solar panels?
No, the installation process does not require scaffolding. Solarguard UK boasts a short lead time and their installers are experienced roofers.
Does the installation of your systems require scaffolding?
No. But you can complete our online form found here to generate a quotation request which will be provided within 48 hours. In most cases, your quotation will be returned the following day.
Can I get an instant quote for solar panel pest protection?

Do you offer a warranty on your products & services?
We currently accept Bank Transfer payment only and all payments must be made on the day of completion.
What are your payment options?
Our lead time is dependent on our workload at any given time throughout the year, although we do try to offer a lead-time of '10 Working Days' whenever possible.
What are your lead times from order of products and services?
Refunds are not a common practice due to our trading terms as payments are only due upon a satisfactory service. Cancellations are permitted under certain conditions.

Easy access to your solar panels using ladders can significantly reduce costs compared to those necessitating scaffolding.
